How to Find the Right Configuration:

1) Decide which Coins, Medallions, and/or Casino Chips are in the Presentation Case's set.

2) Reference which model holder (A, T, H, I, X, Y, Z, or Bar) is used for each Coin, Medallion, or Chip.

3) Count how many of each model there are to be in the Case.

4) Review the Presentation Cases page to find the model you like that supports the number of items to be housed, or check the table below.

Case   # of openings

Case Size

PC 1 1 3 3/8 x 3 3/8 x 1
PC 2 1 to 5 3 3/4 x 6 x 1
PC 3 1 to 6 3 3/8 x 8 1/4 x 1 1/4
PC 4 1 to 9 6 3/8 x 6 3/8 x 1 1/4
PC 5 1 to 15 6 3/8 x 9 x 1 1/4
PC 6 1 to 24 6 x 12 3/4 x 1 7/8
PC 7 1 to 38 8 1/4 x 14 x 1 7/8

5) Check the configuration page for the selected case (links to the various configuration pages are provided below).

6) Find the configuration by searching for the quantity of the smallest size holder model, then continue to locate the rest of the holders in the set.

For Example: a six piece proof set uses the following holders: 2As (Penny and Dime), 2Ts (Nickel and Quarter), 1H (Half Dollar), and 1 I (Dollar).  The smallest Display Case that potentially holds 6 coins is the PC 3.  Checking the Configuration list for PC 3 under "Configurations With Four Holder Sizes" reveals there is not a configuration for a six piece proof set.  Moving to the PC 4 we find the configuration for the six piece proof set is 423B.  Further examination of the other Display Cases shows that there are no other Cases that house a six piece proof set.
