Saflip coin flips are made from an inert Mylar that contains no PVC, oils or any additives that can damage coins. These flips have been the standard for protection in numismatics since they were first introduced. Mylar is the perfect material to protect coins for the long and short term because it is tear and scratch proof. Mylar also has a very low permeability meaning that it will not let dust or water in.
Each Saflip contains two separate but connected pockets allowing one pocket to store the coin, and the other to house an insert with information. This protects the coin from any handling contamination, as well as any contamination on the insert or display card. To ensure the Saflip coin flips remain contaminant free they are kept in poly bags at our warehouse.
We also have a full line of coin pages and storage boxes made to hold coin flips.
